Tyler serves as strategic counsel to businesses and individuals in litigation, corporate and regulatory matters. Tyler brings extensive litigation experience to the table from federal, state and various ADR fora. He started his career as associate counsel in some of the most notable federal securities lawsuits (and commensurate recoveries) in the modern era. He now serves as lead defense counsel in class actions throughout the country.
In corporate matters, Tyler serves as go-to counsel for advisory, transactional and regulatory matters, including film and television, sports and music.
Tyler's past and current clients range from notable companies and individuals to government agencies, film and television projects, entertainment producers and financiers to federally-recognized Native American tribes. He's been featured in Bloomberg Law, Law360 and other publications and has been listed by Super Lawyers since 2020.

Prior to establishing his own practice, Tyler worked with a well-known Miami business litigation firm. There he participated in all aspects of numerous matters, which included multi-million dollar commercial disputes, an active creditors’ rights practice and complex administrative agency litigation. Tyler also worked at a nationally-known securities litigation firm were he prosecuted major securities class actions against publicly-traded entities. He was featured in this regard on Law360’s Expert Analysis section.
Tyler was born in Youngstown, Ohio. He earned his Bachelors Degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo. He served as an Articles Editor of the University of Toledo Law Review where his work on federal court practice was published. During law school, Tyler worked for an Article III Judge in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. He also worked at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Legal Division, Litigation and Resolutions Branch, Financial Crimes Unit, in Washington D.C.
Tyler's proficiency in analyzing and litigating complex financial matters, combined with his experience in major securities class actions and forensic asset tracing, makes him uniquely qualified to handle sophisticated financial fraud cases and substantial recovery matters.
